I was born and grew up in Denver, Colorado. In the 60s I got into the folk boom, learning ukulele(!) and later tenor banjo, guitar and piano. I played in a folk group and in a Dixieland band. I had a singer songwriter solo album, "The Man Who Ate the Plant" produced in the mid-70s. Since then, I have recorded 6 CDs in Venice, CA at my home studio "with a little help from my friends."
